Dinwiddie County offices closed Monday as part of COVID-19 response

DINWIDDIE – All Dinwiddie County government offices and facilities will be closed Monday, March 16, 2020 in response to the COVID-19/Coronavirus.

County Administrator, Kevin Massengill, stated “In an effort to help ensure the health and safety of our citizens, Dinwiddie County will be closed for planning and intensive cleaning of all municipal buildings.” Massengill continued “The County’s senior leadership team and public works department staff will report as scheduled, and the Public Safety building will remain open.”

Dan Lee, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors reiterated “The health and well-being of our employees and citizens is our top priority. We appreciate your patience as we work to navigate this unchartered territory.”

The County’s manned convenience sites will open as scheduled.
