Dinwiddie, Va. – The Dinwiddie School Board held a special meeting to make a decision about the school reopening plans for 2020-2021. The board voted 5-0 for the schools to reopen with the parental choice of the Virtual Option or the Hybrid Option. For the Hybrid Option, students would attend school 2 days per week on either an A or B schedule.
The board has asked the Superintendent to follow up with the students that have not yet made an instructional decision. If space allows, efforts will be made to allow for more instructional time at the K-3 level.
More details of the reopening plans will be made available in the coming weeks that will be shared with our families and staff.
