Green graduates from U.S. Army War College

Lee C. Green, Department of the Army Civilian, graduated as a Distinguished Graduate from the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle, Pa. with a master’s degree in Strategic Studies on 10. Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Mark A. Milley addressed the graduates about Army readiness and the future leadership challenges in a complex world.

Graduate studies included a completion of a Strategy Research Project, entitled, “Contingency Base Construction Funding for the Future Force.”

A native of Westhampton, New York, and a long-time resident of Dinwiddie County, Green will next serve as a Strategic Planner for Headquarters, Department of the Army at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

The U.S. Army War College’s 10-month curriculum educates and develops senior military officers from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, as well as senior foreign military officers and civilian officials from a variety of federal agencies, to serve in strategic level command and staff positions worldwide.
