William Aulick Rose, Jr., 79, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Aulick, Sr., and Blanche Burton Rose; and first wife, Bonnie Carter Rose. Bill was a loyal member of Western Heights Baptist Church and was re-baptized at the age of 75. He loved Nascar Racing and was a big fan of Denny Hamlin. Bill worked hard all his life, beginning as a young boy. He worked up until age 79 when his illness forced him to quit. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Adelaide Rose; two sons, William Richard Rose (Lee Ann), and Robert Bryant Rose; five grandchildren, Janet, Carter, Gina, Audra and Robbie; two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Christine; sister, Barbara Jean Swartz; and 10 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Western Heights Baptist Church. Interment will be private.
